Name of the week: Lavender

Lavenders

Lavender is a unusual plant name that could gain favour through other plant names like Lily, Daisy and Poppy or names like Lara, Laura or Lauren but I doubt it will get that high on the charts. The meaning of Lavender is pretty obvious the Lavender flower. It also has great literacy references Lavender Brown form Harry Potter and Lavender from Roald Dahl’s Matilda. It would also work as a more unusual middle name, Tulip and Blossom get used so why not Lavender.
