Yesterday I went to the Perth Royal show I saw a few unusual names there:
While my dad was waiting in line at the ATM the man infront of us yelled lets go Tiago, he pronounced it Ti-ay-go
While we were walking my dad found some people we knew they had three children named Flynn, Indi and Ginger. I don’t think Indi was short for anything but her name could have been Indiana or India, her parents introduced her as Indi.
Tiago can be short for Santiago, though it’s usually pronounced Sahn-tee-ah-goh. I also saw a girl named Indy as her given name and thought that was interesting.
I like the sibset, it’s very Australian-sounding!
With the popularity of Indiana, Indi just fits in and Flynn is normal.
