Here in WA we have sweltered to 41 degrees and over (my hottest day ever is 43 degrees) and it is apparently pretty hot in melbourne. So in honour of the heat here in WA and everywhere else (except Sydney) the name of the week is Summer. Summer is pretty common over here at 18 in WA, 39 in NSW and 32 in Australia.

Ugh, soooo hot! Sydney just started heating up – it’s going to be 40 in the western suburbs today.
I have been seeing a fair bit of Summer in birth notices lately, and I’m guessing you see more born at this time of year.
We’re cooling down here but still in the high 30’s we get really hot around Christmas it is always 40 or more.
Christmas is usually nice here, and then New Year is awful. It’s not so bad now, mid 30s.
Sydney (city) is meant to be 43 today.
where at 40. Christmas here is usually 40, boxing day 42. In my hometown its 42 and up north gets 45 and over.
